About me
Tara Clarke has many years of experience in the education field. She started her career as a teacher at Maria Montessori Charter School in Rocklin, California. After relocating to Tehachapi, she continued her career in the Tehachapi Unified School District as a teacher, Academic Coach, and Learning Director. She expanded her educator support role by joining the Professional Learning team at Kern County Superintendent of Schools in 2022.
Tara’s educational journey began at the University of Florida, where she earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education. After moving to California, she further expanded her expertise by completing the credentialing program at the University of Phoenix. She holds her Multiple Subject and Administrative Services Credentials. This solid academic foundation has been pivotal to her success as an ML Coordinator and English Learner Specialist.
Outside of consulting, Tara enjoys reading, writing, spending time with her family, and watching the birds that visit her many feeders. She is dedicated to advocating for students and educators and empowering them to be their best academically and professionally.
