About me
Rolinda has over 35 years of experience in the field of education. She started her career teaching kindergarten, first and second grades in the Delano Union School District. She also served as a district literacy trainer, resource teacher and program administrator for the district's Child Development Program. Her career includes being a reading intervention teacher at the Greenfield Union School District. Recently, Rolinda was the lead coach for Kern Early Stars, a quality improvement program for early childhood education with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools.
Rolinda's educational journey began at the University of La Verne where she obtained her BS degree in Child Development. She received her Multiple Subjects credential from California State University Fresno. She also received her Master's degree in Educational Services and Administrative Credential from Fresno Pacific. These significant academic foundations and experiences have come full circle in her role as the Program Specialist for UPK and Early Education.
Outside of consulting, Rolinda is learning the art of photography, is a beginner with yoga, and enjoys thrift shops when out of town. Rolinda advocates for high quality early learning experiences for our youngest learners.
