About me
For the last 35 years, Meredith Scott Lynn has been a recognized (“familiar, but not famous”) film & television actress with smaller roles in blockbuster movies, bigger roles in award-winning independent films, and countless roles on countless television series. Behind the camera, she has also produced and directed both film and tv projects.
Just over a decade ago, Meredith shifted her focus completely when she had an idea that she knew would have meaningful impact on the education landscape, impact that is desperately needed for all students, but especially those classified as “under-performing” or at “low levels.” She recognized an unmet need for literacy-building, social-emotional skills-building programs that could powerfully engage both students and educators.
Meredith bought a $7.00 book at a Kinkos print shop called How to Start a Business, spent the last few thousand dollars she had in the bank to trademark WRiTE BRAiN, and created a company committed to increasing both skills and self-esteem through inspirational and innovative educational experiences for everyone, everywhere.
