About me
Ms. Tamarah Williams immigrated to the United States from Belize and completed her Child and Family Education degree at Antelope Valley College. Later, she transferred to Brandman University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Leadership in Early Childhood Education. She received her Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. Tamarah is pursuing her Ph.D. in Education, specializing in Leadership and Advocacy in Early Childhood Education at Walden University. Tamarah has dedicated 15 years to working with students as a mentor and educator. She served as the Site Manager for the Jumpstart program at California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB), which assists in closing the literacy gap for underprivileged children. She is a College Professor in the Human Development and Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies Department at CSUB and Antelope Valley College, where she lectures on the importance of play, infant toddler development, adolescent development, diversity, human development, and multilingual education. Tamarah is also an adjunct instructor at Antelope Valley College in the Child and Family Education department, where she teaches the Child Development Practicum courses.
